Guest Service Ambassador
We are looking to hire a professional and upbeat individual to provide quality Hospitality service to the guests at Muskoka Bay Resort.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Must live within commuting distance to the resort, no staff housing available.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet all guests in a friendly and welcoming manor.

Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key

Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges

Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns in a timely manor.

Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in, notifying Housekeeping of late departures, early arrival and special requests.

Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch Porter or Transportation Ambassadors as needed.

Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest. Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy

Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system. Count cash float at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.

Maintain the orderliness and cleanliness of the Front Desk and Heart of House. Monitor the neatness of the lobby.

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Qualifications: ​

2 years of Front Desk Agent/Guest Services is preferred

2 years of Customer service is preferred
-
Previous Hotel experience is preferred

Flexibility with working overnight shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Self-motivated, friendly, upbeat, outgoing, mature person who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Excellent interpersonal skills/Customer focused and detail oriented.

Organizational skills, ability to multi-task with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

· Knowledge of computers and cash handling experience an asset
